My apologies folks, I’ve been snowed under (thankfully not literally – at least not now!) with work. And I’ve not posted the most recent info on Paul.

CURRENTLY:  Paul is beginning to open his eyes.. a bit more (fluttering motions); small, sure… but still a good sign.  The paralysis on his left side persists. There have been reports by the nursing staff of more movement on his right side; another small, but good sign.  His breathing is  much better and remains strong.  Paul’s vitals are solid. 

All good.

I will be talking w/his sister a bit later today.  I just received a TXT from here that she and Lindsay spent the 2 hour visitation time with him today.  She is to fill me in, via Skype,  to get the current update

We thought we’d had a great system worked out so I could call-in and talk w/ Paul via mobile phone.  But, Stephanie (sister) TXT me back saying the hospital would NOT allow it; due to possible interference w/ monitors and the like.   I then TXT her back to see if there was a land-line I could call. Apparently there was not. 

OK .. not giving up here.  So PLAN B:

I’ll record MP3 files and send them to them to play to Paul. 

NOW .. here’s where you all can get involved.

I have been planning an online ‘Radio Show’ of sorts – in which Paul and I – along with out partner-in-crime in Tasmania (Pieter Zaadstra) – would talk with (aka, interview) various victims … uhm… errr.. colleagues  :) , on matters of interest to eDIGImag, LAT/LON… and our other business interests – on a whole range of, ‘…just plain interesting stuff’ .. of a wide ranging scope.

I would really like to extend this idea out to you all, as a broadening of our, “Conversations For Paul”, campaign. 

As you all know, I’ve been trying to keep updates flowing on Paul and always requesting that you write comments to Paul on eDIGImag Facebook, OOAK Gallery Facebook, Paul Lindenberg-Photographer Facebook, PlanespottingZA Facebook, Spotlightkid RedBubble .. and anywhere else you’re a part of Paul’s online world.

I scour these areas .. finding new ones daily .. and will begin sending these to Lindsay so she and Stephanie .. and whomever else is there .. to read to Paul.  This will help him ‘exercise’ his neurons .. rebuilding pathways that were damaged and strengthening those needing repair.   It’s a process that REALLY WORKS! 

So far the response has been working well.  Now I would like to add YOUR VOICE to the ‘new’ Vocalized effort.

There are a lot of ‘down times’ when the family is either not there, or just tired and need a rest.  That’s where WE can come in..!!!  Via an MP3 player, WE can ‘talk to Paul’.   Don’t worry, the conversations are … for now (at least until the movie comes out… “. )))  private – for Paul’s ears .. and well, those within ‘ear shot’ … only.   Thus, we’ll not get too bawdy, but – hey, this is PAUL we’re talking to.  And he does need stimulating conversation.. eh?  “. )   

Seriously.  Let me know what y’all think.  I will be doing this myself.  But, I know Paul would LOVE to hear from you all, too.

If you’re willing … I’ll do what it takes to connect with you .. meaning I’ll be up at all hours of the day and night .. to make recordings.   Hey, Paul would do this for me .. and well, anyone who is reading this …frankly.  So, I’m doing it for him
